Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says"No possibilities for growing professionally, they look for "yes man" people to execute the job. For the management you will be only an employees, they don't empower you. They is a lot of employees turnover, ask youself why. Borderline projects between legal and not legal"
Former Employee - Product says"At the beginning you get the impression that Leadtech has a nice environment but you will realize soon that there is a big friendship between managers and certain people. New comers will never have that situation so you will struggle"
Meter Reader (Former Employee) says"They couldn't care less about the employees. The pay doesn't match up to the workload. And the supervisors are unprofessional and lack not only empathy for the people they hire, but also real leadership skills as well.Hour lunchEverything"
Survey Technician (Current Employee) says"There is a lack of pay and training, and no clear communication. The supervisor tell you one thing, and the management has no clue about, what the daily tasks are!!!!"
Field Supervisor (Former Employee) says"Supervisor training for this area is unorganized and support can only be found from other Supervisor that are close to the area. Area manager changes the scope of your work after you accept the job, lots and lots of demands are placed on Supervisor. Never a day off. Exceptions change which cause misleading advise to crew which leads to failed audits and confusing as to how to complete each task. Area Management covers themselves and will not stand behind Supervisor. The area of West Texas is to large for one Supervisor to cover. You are placed in an Area to fail. The pay is less than any other Area Supervisor in Dallas, which has less area to cover. Very unorganized and uncaring once they con you to take this job. Stay away from the West Texas Supervisor Job."
Meter Reader (Former Employee) says"People are disrespectful and blame you for they're mistakes. No communication. Treat you like you are stupid, and replacable at any moment. Pay is bad and they absolutely do not care about their employees. They flat out lied at the interview. Only plus side is a company vehicle. But, that is literally it. No other good things to say about this joke of a company. "Management" is a joke"

Leak Survey Technician (Former Employee) says"No body has any clue what to do.management is poor beyond belief, broken promises useless meetings and just poor equipment that never worked right. I wouldn't waste your time...."
Leak survey technician (Former Employee) says"They tell you whatever to get you in the door. They lie. They expect you to travel and put stress on your family life, but they will not stand up for you when you need them. Would not recommend working for this company.Company vehicleDishonest company. No loyalty to employees."
Locator Technician (Former Employee) says"Hands down the worst company I have ever worked for. Not a lot of fun trying to locate gas lines in the middle of busy high ways every day. The management team was also for below par."
Locator (Current Employee) says"Management sets unrealistic goals for you. Makes you commute way farther then they said you would have to. It's mandatory every Saturday. Oncall during holidays. Threatening and harassing emails daily.Company vehicleEverything else"
Locate Technician (Current Employee) says"I have multiple years experience in the utility locating business, and never have I ever been more displeased with the company in which I work for. It seems that no matter how hard you work, you can always do more, or work harder. There is always something more that you can be doing in the eyes of the supervisors. If you’re not kissing the supervisors behinds every day, then you can expect to get blamed for things that aren’t your fault. Also, if you’re a human like me, you’re bound to make mistakes, but with this company you get suspended for three days without pay for simply forgetting to clock out for lunch one day. If you don’t like being micro managed 24/7, then this isn’t the job for you. Additionally, If you’re looking for a place to advance your career into anything other than a locator, you can forget about it! There is absolutely no room for advancement, except for maybe a crew leader. Which get paid salary, and you can make more getting paid by the hour as a locator. Speaking of hours, I hope you’re ready to work 60+ mandatory hours every week and hardly get the time to spend with your family. As far as PTO is concerned, they are super picky about giving you time off. I have over 80 hours of PTO stored up, which I have tried several times to use, but every time I try to put in for it, it gets declined. Anyways these are just a few of the things you can take from somebody who’s has worked here. It’s simply terrible. Get ready to go home stressed everyday after work!Company Vehicle, Laptop, Cell Phone, all of which are tracked via GPS and micro managed.Leadership is a joke, No room for advancement, Hard work gets rewarded with more hard work, No work/life balance, No respect, Stress, Micro Management, No trust, Etc!"
Natural gas utility locator (Former Employee) says"This place is beyond a joke. Do not waste your time here. Zero positives to working here they lie to you from the beginning telling you you will work close to home as soon as your on your own its nothing like they said and your in the ghetto. They have people robbed all the time. They even try to charge the employee for stuff that is taken in robbery"
Utility Locator (Former Employee) says"horrible management, employee threats from other employee that management does nothing about no respect from supervisor or lead tech, preach team but expect one person to do it allnonemanagement, pay, disrespect"
Locator (Current Employee) says"No advancement unless you know someone. If your good at your job they make you do someone else’s to. And don’t make them do anything. This is a do as I say not as I do company. Run off all the good ones due to babying the bad ones. Micro management very badly continuous liesCar, gas cardYou name it"
Troubleshooting Technician (Former Employee) says"No one should work here. The company is run by cheap old suits with no experience in the field and idea of how the job is to be done. The management is the worst I've ever experienced. They can't retain anyone that actually are good at the job because the pay and benefits are so poor. The company is slowly trying to move forward and be progressive, but they're actually moving backwards and hurting the employees in the process. If they like they will do whatever they can to keep you but if they don't like you then the first you do wrong you're fired. This company shows a lot of favortism.VehicleEverything other than the company vehicle"
